Dec 13, 2019· I've always sharpened the ends on my surface grinder. It's not as time consuming as one might think once your properly set up and get the feel for it. The only time I find that it becomes more time consuming is when I have to cut the gash. But that usually doesn't happen until an end mill has been sharpened several times. At least for me.
